ABOUT
I am a certified Mindfulness Teacher and Facilitator of circles trained in the Way of Council based in South-West London. I founded BridgeMaker Mindfulness in 2019 to create spaces where adults, children, and teenagers can reconnect with presence, attention, and inner balance — individually and together. Drawing on over 15 years of meditation, yoga, and personal development, I offer structured mindfulness courses and facilitate circles that cultivate awareness, compassion, and resilience in daily life. My approach is informed by both personal experience and professional training — and by my own journey through burnout, which revealed the transformative power of mindfulness. As a mother of two adult daughters and a former lecturer and translator, I understand the challenges people face in balancing work, family, and self-care. This experience continues to shape the way I teach, listen, and hold space.

Continuing professional development (CPD), each year, to renew my certification to teach mindfulness, the Academy for Mindful Teaching and Zenways respectively require that I attend a 5-day silent retreat and undertake a minimum of 6 hours CPD, and 10 hours of live learning and self-studying.
I have access to personal support from mentors in both organisations, whom I can contact whenever I need advice about a client.
CPD complements my daily mindfulness and yoga practice, as well as the self-development and knowledge building workshops I regularly attend.
